Mumbai, July 27, 2024: IOC President Thomas Bach and French President Emmanuel Macron marked the start of the Paris 2024 Olympics on Friday before the arrival of the Olympic flame at Austerlitz Bridge. That was followed by the first delegations joining the Opening Ceremony in boats as part of the parade along the River Seine, with performers, dancers, and musicians including Lady Gaga there to welcome the athletes.
