Mumbai, November 9, 2025: FIIs continued to be net cash sellers to the tune of Rs.6,214 crore as of 6th Nov’25.

Q) How is the future FPI flow expected to be?

The weakness in the global markets was broadly driven by (1) the market turning cautious on AI valuations and (2) continued US government shutdown. Indian markets were weak as well, despite Q2FY26 earnings coming in marginally ahead of expectations. On the macro front, the central government’s tax collections remained weak, with total receipts growing 5.7% yoy in H1FY26. On the political front, Bihar has seen the highest voter turnout in the history of its state elections. FPI flows are expected to remain volatile.
