Mumbai February 9, 2026: Bandhan Multi Asset Allocation Fund is marking its second anniversary with a significant dual milestone—two years of performance delivery for investors and assets under management (AUM) crossing Rs 2,700 crore, reflecting rising investor preference for diversified, all-weather investment solutions.
Since inception, the scheme has demonstrated the benefits of a structured multi-asset strategy. A sum of Rs 10,000 invested at launch has grown to Rs 14,046 in a little over two years, underlining the fund’s ability to generate steady wealth across market cycles. Over the last one year, the scheme delivered a return of 20.96%, while its one-year SIP return of 25.4% outperformed the index return of 22.5%, showcasing strong relative performance.
Diversification at the core of the strategy
The Bandhan Multi Asset Allocation Fund is designed to maintain a well-balanced allocation across asset classes, aiming to combine growth, stability, and inflation protection. The target strategic allocation includes 50% in domestic equities, 15% in gold and silver, 15% in arbitrage, 10% in international equities, and 10% in fixed income instruments. This diversified mix helps smooth portfolio volatility while capturing opportunities across market conditions.
Within equities, the scheme follows a multi-cap approach, maintaining meaningful exposure across large, mid, and small-cap stocks. This allows the fund to participate in a broader set of growth opportunities while avoiding over-reliance on any single market segment.
Enhancing risk-adjusted returns
According to Bandhan Mutual Fund, a multi-asset allocation strategy can help investors improve risk-adjusted returns by dynamically balancing exposure across asset classes with low correlation to each other. The Bandhan Multi Asset Allocation Fund provides exposure to 13 different sub-asset classes, including US and emerging market equities, gold and silver, government and corporate bonds, money market instruments, and spot futures, among others.
Importantly, despite its diversified structure, the scheme allows investors to benefit from equity fund taxation, as per prevailing tax laws, enhancing post-tax return efficiency.
Investor-friendly access
The fund is accessible to a wide range of investors, with Systematic Investment Plans (SIPs) starting at Rs 500 per month for a minimum period of six months, or a lump-sum investment of Rs 1,000, and in multiples of Rs 1 thereafter.
As it enters its third year, the Bandhan Multi Asset Allocation Fund continues to position itself as a versatile core holding for investors seeking diversified exposure, consistent performance, and long-term wealth creation.
