Mumbai, June 5, 2025: YES BANK, India’s sixth largest private sector bank, has announced the launch of its Custom Duty payment facility through direct integration with the Indian Customs Electronic Gateway (ICEGATE), the electronic portal of the Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs (CBIC). This launch marks a major milestone in YES BANK’s mission to simplify statutory payments and support India’s growing trade and logistics ecosystem through digital innovation.
Through this integration, importers and trade participants can now pay custom duty online, at the time and place of their convenience. The service is available across both platforms for Net Banking - Retail and Corporate, offering real-time payment confirmation and instant e-receipts. The facility is authorised by the Government of India, reaffirming YES BANK’s position as a trusted partner for national economic infrastructure and business enablement.
To make custom duty payments through YES BANK, users need to log in to the ICEGATE portal at www.icegate.gov.in and select the requisite challan due for payment. They can then choose ‘YES BANK NetBanking’ as their payment option, selecting either YES Online (Retail NetBanking) or Corporate NetBanking, based on their account type. Once the payment is completed, users receive real-time confirmation along with an instant receipt for their records.
