Advancing Education Key to Realizing PM Modi's Vision for Viksit Bharat, Says Rishi Bagla at CII Global Education Conclave 2024

Mumbai, 25 October, 2024: AI and smart technologies are poised to revolutionize India's higher education landscape, ushering in significant advancements in teaching, learning, and research. This was the central theme of the 5th CII Global Education Conclave 2024, where experts from academia, industry, and government gathered to discuss the impact of technological innovations on shaping the future of education in India.
Rishi Kumar Bagla, Deputy Chairman of CII Western Region and Chairman & Managing Director of BG Electricals & Electronics India, emphasized the pivotal role of education in achieving the Hon'ble Prime Minister’s vision for a developed India. “Education is the cornerstone of realizing Viksit Bharat. The Hon’ble Prime Minister’s vision for a Viksit Bharat can be actualized through strategic advancements in India’s higher education ecosystem,” Mr. Bagla remarked during his address at the conclave.
Highlighting the transformative potential of AI in the education sector, Mr. Bagla called for a collaborative effort to democratize access to technology. He stressed the need for collective action, saying, “We must work together to empower the next generation with the benefits of AI, ensuring that these innovations reach every corner of our nation.”
The conclave brought together thought leaders from across sectors to explore how AI and smart technologies can reshape education in India. Experts discussed how AI is not only enhancing classroom experiences but also opening new avenues for research and personalized learning, with significant potential to bridge gaps in access to quality education.
