NSE CEO to address startup founders and investors on upcoming Friday on scaling prudently to global standards in a fast changing, AI driven economy

Mumbai, 22 June 2026: Ashish Kumar Chauhan, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, National Stock Exchange (NSE), will on Friday address startup founders and investors on scaling prudently to global standards in a fast changing, AI driven economy.

Chauhan's address is slated when the JITO Incubation and Innovation Foundation (JIIF) marks its Foundation Day on June 26, 2026 at the NSE in Mumbai. The keynote comes days after the NSE filed its draft prospectus for one of India's largest ever public offerings, a listing nearly a decade in the making.

JITO, the Jain International Trade Organisation, is one of the world's largest networks of Jain industrialists, entrepreneurs and professionals. Its innovation and entrepreneurship arm, JIIF, has over the past nine years built a platform that has drawn leading names from across Indian business, with previous Foundation Day editions featuring founders and leaders of companies such as Paytm, Zepto, Info Edge and Haldiram's.  

Commenting on the occasion, Jeenendra Bhandari, Chairman, JIIF, said "Over the last nine years, JIIF has evolved into a strong platform connecting entrepreneurs, investors and mentors, helping startups access not just capital but also strategic guidance and networks. The Foundation Day will bring together entrepreneurs, investors, startup founders, family offices and industry leaders to discuss innovation, investment and the future of entrepreneurship in India. Participation is expected from prominent investors and business leaders including Rajesh Jain, Managing Director, Zarco Ventures; Rajat Mehta, President, Mehta Equities; Mihir Vora, Chief Investment Officer, Trust Asset Management; and Amit Goenka, Chief Executive Officer, Nisus Finance, among others from the startup and investment ecosystem.

A key highlight will be JITO Shark Angels, JIIF's angel investment platform that connects startups with investors, mentors and strategic partners. The day will feature startup pitch sessions and founder investor interactions.The programme will also host a panel discussion titled "Multi-Asset Mindset Bharat: Where Should India's Wealth Be Invested, Gold, Equity, Real Estate, Mutual Funds or Startups?", examining evolving wealth creation trends and the growing role of startups as an emerging asset class. Artificial intelligence will be a further theme of the celebration. An AI panel featuring founders and investors from companies including InVideo, Z47 and SpotDraft will discuss the opportunities, challenges and impact of AI across industries.

Entrepreneurs from companies such as Wellbeing Nutrition, FatakPay, Chalo, Almonds AI, The EleFant, Snitch and Muuchstac will also share their journeys in sessions titled "My Journey, Straight From the Heart", offering insights into building, scaling and sustaining businesses.
