India has the capability to build its own AI models, powered by students, startups, and a strong research base, according to the post by nasscom events on X today. ‘nasscom Technology and Leadership Forum’ (NTLF) 2025 is being organized in Mumbai on 24-25 Feb, 2025.

With centers of excellence and techno-legal frameworks, the country is taking a proactive approach - developing technical tools to address security concerns while ensuring innovation thrives. And the next step is clear: academia must evolve. The focus now shifts to reshaping graduate, master’s, and PhD programs.
