Mumbai, April 12, 2026: The Global AI Summit served as a fitting stage to celebrate the innovators and leaders shaping the future of artificial intelligence. Indiaspora provided a platform for Persistent Systems to announce the winners of the She Shapes AI Award. She Shapes AI is Persistent Systems' initiative to recognize women leaders who are redefining how AI is designed, governed, and applied. The program spotlights trailblazing women driving real-world AI outcomes across industries.
Two of this year's recipients are Indiaspora members: Dr. Rajashree Baskaran, Founder & CEO of Project Karna, and Radha Basu, Founder & CEO of iMerit. Fellow honoree Radhika Ananth, Head of India & Investment Director at Hitachi Ventures also deserve many congratulations.
