Annual graduation ceremony of Vaikunth Mehta National Institute of Cooperative Management concluded

Mumbai, July 20, 2024: Union Minister of State for Cooperatives and Civil Aviation Muralidhar Mohol said today that due to the positive and bold decisions taken by the Modi government at the Center in the last ten years by establishing a new Ministry for Cooperative Sector, the agriculture and cooperative sector is getting stronger.
He was speaking as the chief guest at the annual graduation ceremony of Vaikunth Mehta National Institute of Cooperative Management in Pune. On this occasion, 99 students of the 32nd batch of Agriculture and Agriculture related courses in the institute were awarded Post Graduate Certificate by Mohol.
Stating that the Vaikunth Mehta Cooperative Society is the oldest training institute in the country in the cooperative sector, Mohol further said that India 's economy is moving rapidly in the world and the contribution of the cooperative sector has been valuable. Vaikunth Mehta Cooperative Management Society is fulfilling the need of skilled manpower in this sector very honestly and effectively. The role of trained youth like you will be very important in increasing the cooperation of the country and Mohol appealed to the youth to contribute substantially in the work of developing India in the future.
Mohol also said that Pune is the cradle of education and if students get the opportunity to study in such a Pune city, it will be of great benefit in their future life.
Mohol inaugurated the app Executive Edge which was created to create harmony between the new and old students of the institute. Director of the Institute Dr. Hema Yadav gave introduction and welcome while Registrar Dr. A. K. Asthana thanked.
