Lodha: Constitution Temples To Be Set Up In Industrial Training Institutes, Technical Schools

Skill Development Minister Mangal Prabhat Lodha has decided to set up constitution temples in 419 government industrial training institutes and 163 government technical schools of the state. Which will be inaugurated online simultaneously on 15th August.

Mumbai, August 4, 2024: The Maharashtra government has taken an initiative to set up national constitution temples in educational institutions to explain the importance of the constitution to the students of the state. As a part of this, Skill Development Minister Mangal Prabhat Lodha has decided to set up constitution temples in 419 government industrial training institutes and 163 government technical schools of the state. Which will be inaugurated online simultaneously on 15th August.

In a press conference held at Maharashtra State Skill University today, Minister Lodha while informing the reporters said that since the true principle of social justice is derived from the Constitution of India, we have decided to establish a Constitution Temple. Through this our aim is to explain the importance of constitution to the students. These temples will give the right direction to the thinking of the new generation. At this place Bharat Ratna Dr. The teachings of Babasaheb Ambedkar will be worshipped. A talented youth inspired by the right ideas has the power to progress himself, his family and the country. Therefore, we are trying to create an employable firm with virtuous thoughts.

June 26 is celebrated as Social Justice Day across Maharashtra. Cabinet Minister Mangal Prabhat Lodha decided to set up the Constitution Temple on this day so that the students can get the true teachings of social justice. The existence of this Vidhan Temple will not be limited to the sanctum sanctorum built on the premises of Industrial Training Institutes and Government Technical Schools. Once a month various programs will be organized here for the students. A workshop will be organized to inform the students about the provisions of the Indian State Constitution. Campaigning to create awareness about constitutional rights and duties especially among marginalized communities, organizing seminars, conferences, debates on constitutional issues, reforms, role of constitution in contemporary society and providing legal assistance to students seeking further understanding or study of the same. will come Essay competitions and related programs will be organized to give them a deeper understanding of constitutional rights and the constitution. Apart from this, the government is trying to increase the knowledge of the students by providing books, articles etc. on various aspects of the Constitution. These programs will be organized on important days to celebrate special important dates like Constitution Day, Republic Day.
