Mumbai, March 27: Maharashtra Skill Development Minister Mangal Prabhat Lodha visited a Technical Education Institute during his visit to Singapore to impart good quality skill training to the youth of the state. Prime Minister Narendra Modi also visited this institute in 2014 and appreciated the facilities here. During this visit, Minister Lodha stayed at this institution for about four hours and got in-depth information about this institution.

What kind of training do young people get here? What new technology is used here? What is the difference between our technical education and the technical education available here? Mr. Lodha studied all such things. After this visit, Minister Lodha said that he was very impressed with the facilities here and definitely efforts will be made to start all these facilities in Maharashtra as soon as possible. Skill Development Minister Mangal Prabhat Lodha said that the Maharashtra government will also sign an MoU in the near future. The visit will be very important to globally identify India as a hub of skilled manpower.

Institutions of Technical Education, Institutions providing facilities for technical education, provide all possible assistance to other institutions interested in imparting skill training. Operational since 2003, ITEES (Institute of Technical Education Education Services) has collaborated to provide technical and vocational education in 30 countries. If a new technical and vocational education facility is to be started, ITEES provides support in all necessary matters like infrastructure development, required management skills, curriculum development etc.
