The size of the Maha budget is seen at Rs7.20 lakh crore (Trillion- Tn). The budget has envisaged MMR To Be Rs1.5 Trillion (Tn) Economy In Budget Of Rs7.20 Trillion:

A people-oriented budget that will create a developed Maharashtra: CM

This is a people-oriented budget that realizes the vision of a developed India and a developed Maharashtra. This budget has five pillars of employment and social development along with agriculture, industry, infrastructure. Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis today assured that our future path will be based on this balanced budget.

Maharashtra's growth rate is highest

The state budget has managed to keep the fiscal deficit at 2.7 percent. In the previous year, this deficit was at 2.9 percent. A good balance has been maintained between revenue collection and expenditure. The size of the state budget has now reached seven lakh crores. Therefore, Maharashtra has now become the state with the largest budget in terms of population, with the exception of Uttar Pradesh. The growth of Maharashtra's GSDP (Gross State Domestic Product) is good. In the last ten years, this figure has reached 7.5 percent. This production has increased by five to ten lakh crores. Due to this, our borrowing limit has also increased to this extent. Therefore, it is also noteworthy that we have not violated the prescribed borrowing limit.

Industrial sector boom

Our industry sector has also taken off. This growth rate is good, barring the Covid period. Our state is number one in startups. Maharashtra is also ahead in GST tax collection. Compared to the national tax collection, we are more than seven percent ahead, that is, Rs 1.5 lakh crore. Other states are behind us. I am confident that Maharashtra will continue to be ahead due to industrial growth, foreign investment and startups and GST.

Effective planning of infrastructure

Road development is an important issue in the state's infrastructure. In our budget, emphasis has been placed on the development of roads in a planned manner, considering the next twenty years. Due to this, the planning of roads will be done in a uniform manner from the village level to the state level. We will focus on raising funds through external mechanisms for these infrastructure works. The road network is being developed through the World Bank, Asian Bank, New Development Bank and NABARD. This will also bring in huge investment for the development of ports and airports in our state.

Maharashtra is the leader in house construction..

Maharashtra has reached a great milestone in the field of housing construction. There has been a lot of investment in this sector too. Especially through the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, we are now reaching the milestone of two lakh houses. In this too, there will be a large inflow of funds through the Centre and the state. These houses will be made self-sufficient for electricity through the Pradhan Mantri Surya Ghar Yojana. Apart from this, it has been promised in today's budget to provide electricity to houses whose electricity consumption is less than three hundred units.

Priority is also given to agriculture and irrigation sectors.

This budget has emphasized on things like artificial intelligence - AI and biotech, drone technology that reduce production costs and increase profits in agriculture. It is possible to plan stages from soil testing to flowering and fruiting through AI. Planning has also been done for that. Substantial provisions have been made for Jalyukt Shivar Phase II and Nadijod project.

From beloved sister to millionaire sister...

It has been planned that there will be no shortage of funds for our beloved sisters. Apart from this, it is planned that the sisters will become financially independent through this scheme. Some sisters have established societies with this fifteen hundred rupees. By creating a network of these societies, a state-level apex society will be established. Apart from this, we also want to take forward the concept of self-employment of women called Lakhpati Didi. So far, we have fulfilled the goal of 23 lakh Lakhpati Didi. We have to achieve the goal of 24 lakh more and reach the goal of one crore Lakhpati Didi.

Social justice, development of tribals too

The allocation for social justice and tribal departments has been increased significantly to 43 and 40 percent respectively. The policy of social justice will be strengthened. As individual benefit schemes will be implemented in this, many families will definitely benefit in terms of education, health and employment.

It is a budget that emphasizes employment opportunities while moving towards development. Earlier, the record of presenting the budget 13 times as Finance Minister was in the name of the late Sheshrao Wankhede. Deputy Chief Minister and Finance and Planning Minister Pawar has presented the budget for the eleventh time. I am confident that he will also complete this record and present the budget in the future, said Chief Minister Fadnavis and congratulated Deputy Chief Minister and Finance and Planning Minister Pawar and Minister of State for Finance Jaiswal.
