Mumbai, April 24, 2026: IndusInd Bank today announced the appointment of Mr. Ganesh Sankaran, Head – Wholesale Banking Group, and Mr. Jagdeep Mallareddy, Head – Consumer Banking, as Additional Directors in the category of Executive Directors (Whole-time Directors) of the Bank.

Mr. Ganesh Sankaran currently leads the Bank’s Wholesale Banking Group, while Mr. Jagdeep Mallareddy heads the Consumer Banking business. Both bring with them extensive experience in their respective domains and have been closely involved in driving the Bank’s key business priorities.
Their appointments are for a period of three years, with effect from such date or for such period as may be approved by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI), and are subject to the approval of the Bank’s shareholders. Upon their appointment as Whole-time Directors taking effect, both Mr. Sankaran and Mr. Mallareddy will also assume responsibilities as Key Managerial Personnel of the Bank.
In the interim, the Bank has re-designated Mr. Ganesh Sankaran and Mr. Jagdeep Mallareddy as Executive Director – Designate, effective April 24, 2026, until their formal appointment as Additional Directors in the category of Executive Directors (Whole-time Directors) comes into effect.
