The Exclusive Partnership is to Offer PNB LUXURA and PNB Parakram Credit Cards to Army Personnel

Mumbai, 20 August, 2026: Punjab National Bank (PNB), one of India’s leading public sector banks, has entered into an exclusive Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Indian Army to offer PNB LUXURA Credit Card and PNB Parakram Credit Card. Designed exclusively for serving personnel/JCOs/OR of the Indian Army, the credit cards offer a curated range of benefits, lifestyle privileges and fee waivers, providing greater value and convenience across their everyday financial and lifestyle needs. This partnership further strengthens PNB’s long-standing association with the Armed Forces and reinforces its commitment to serving the evolving needs of the Army community.
The MoU signing ceremony was graced by AG, Lt.Gen Viresh Pratap Singh Kaushik, PVSM, UYSM, YSM,SM, DG, MP & PS; Lt. Gen Rajeev Puri, AVSM, VSM representing the Indian Army in presence of Shri Ashok Chandra, MD&CEO, Maj Gen Dinesh Singh Bisht (Retd.), Chief Defence Banking Advisor, Shri Sudhir Dalal, CGM, and Shri Amit Kumar Singh, AGM, from PNB.
The MoU was signed by Maj Gen VK Purohit, AVSM, YSM, SM, on behalf of the Indian Army, and Shri Deepak Kumar, General Manager, Public Relations & Credit Card Division, on behalf of PNB at the Indian Army Headquarters, Delhi.
Under this partnership, PNB will offer two exclusive credit card variants designed for different personnel categories — PNB LUXURA Metal Credit Card for Army Officers and PNB Parakram Credit Card for JCOs/OR personnel. The credit cards offer a range of specially curated privileges and benefits, including 3% cashback on canteen stores (CSD) purchases, complimentary domestic and international lounge access, zero forex mark-up, movie tickets, complimentary golf lessons, and other reward and lifestyle benefits.
The PNB Parakram Credit Card further reflects PNB’s commitment to responsible innovation, with its biodegradable card design offering an environmentally conscious alternative.
