New Delhi, 19 Sept 2025: Punjab National Bank (PNB), India’s leading public sector
bank, has signed an MoU with Indian Coast Guard on 16.09.2025. PNB is offering
bouquet of services with enhanced Insurance Coverage and other benefits to all the
serving personnel and pensioners of the Indian Coast Guard under the bank’s
flagship scheme of “PNB Rakshak Plus”.
MoU was signed by Shri S P Singh, General Manager on behalf of PNB & DIG
Narendra Singh, on behalf of Directorate of Indian Coast Guard in presence of
Sh. Suresh Kumar Rana, Chief General Manager PNB and other senior officials of
Bank & Indian Coast Guard.
The benefits offered are as follows:
1. Personal Accidental Insurance – Rs 100 lakhs
2. Term Life Insurance – Rs 5 lakhs to all Officers
2. Air Accidental Insurance – Rs 150 lakhs
3. Permanent/Partial Disability Coverage – Rs 100 lakhs
4. Additional Cover of Death during Operations – Rs 10 lakhs
Apart from this, several other benefits are being offered to the dependents and
families of Rakshak Account Holder.
