Founder Member of Sahakar Bharati and Director, Central Board, Reserve Bank of India completed 75 years

Mumbai, February 18, 2025: Shri Satish Marathe, Founder Member of Sahakar Bharati and Director, Central Board, Reserve Bank of India completed 75 years on 1st February 2025. He has been an active participant in the CoOp Sector for over 45 years. Earlier, for about a decade, through ABVP he was closely associated with the student movement.
In recognition of his services, Sahakar Bharati has decided to felicitate him at a specially arranged Programme, scheduled to be held on Wed, 19th February 2025 in Mumbai at BAPS Shri Swami Narayan Mandir Auditorium, Opp Dadar Central Rly Station, Dadar (East) from 11am to 1.00 noon.
Shri Bhaiya ji Joshi, former General Secretary, Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh; Veteran CoOperator and former Union Minister Shri Suresh Prabhu and Dr U S Awasthi, MD, IFFCO have agreed to be esteemed the Guests on the occasion.
Sahakar Bharati is the pan India organisation of CoOperators and CoOperatives. It envisages to create, both in Rural and Urban areas, a strong and devoted cadre of selfless CoOperators and a chain of CoOperatives which would spread the knowledge of the CoOperative Movement, which in the present circumstances can act for the upliftment of Small Farmers, Landless Labourers, Vanwasis, Women, SHGs and JLGs, Rural Craftsman and Technicians, Jobless Youth from the Middle and Lower income groups.
