SMFG India Credit Gets Rs1075 Cr Investment

Mumbai, April 24, 2026: Sumitomo Mitsui Financial Group, (SMFG) has infused INR 1,075 crore into SMFG India Credit (SMICC) through a rights issue, reinforcing its long-term commitment to the Indian market and the company’s growth trajectory.

SMICC’s Assets Under Management (AUM) stood at INR 64,100 crore as of December 31, 2025, reflecting a year-on-year growth of 21%. Disbursements for the period April 2025 to December 2025 was INR 39,500 crore, registering a year-on-year growth of 29%.
