Other income in Standalone Financial Results includes dividend received from subsidiary of Rs 39.50 crore in Q1 FY26-27 as compared to Rs 62 crore in Q1 FY25-26.

Business Highlights:
- CDSL became the first depository to register over 18.59 crore demat accounts as on June 30, 2026, extending the trajectory from 15.86 Crore accounts as of June 30, 2025, with the opening of approx. 58 lakh new demat accounts during the quarter.
- CDSL completed an investment of Rs1 crore for a 2% stake in Sahamati Foundation, an RBI-recognised Self-Regulatory Organisation for the Account Aggregator ecosystem, as part of a broader cross-industry initiative to strengthen governance, technology infrastructure and standards for financial data sharing in India.
- The Governing Board approved the appointment of Shri Amit Mahajan as Executive Director for Vertical 1 (Critical Operations), effective June 11, 2026, and Smt. Nayana Ovalekar as Executive Director for Vertical 2 (Regulatory, Compliance, Risk Management & Investor Grievances), effective June 19, 2026, for a period of five years each.

- “Innovation in Settlement Efficiency” award at the Global Custodian Leaders in Asia Custody Awards 2026
- Golden Peacock “Innovative Product/Service Award” (GPIPSA) for 2026 under the Financial Services category
- Silver Award under the Not for Profit / Government Organisation category at the ET BrandEquity Shark Awards 2026 for the "SEBI vs SCAM" campaign by CDSL Investor Protection Fund (IPF) among several other recognitions received for its investor awareness initiatives during the quarter.
- CDSL Investor Protection Fund (IPF) conducted over 40+ Investor Awareness Programmes (IAPs) across India during the quarter.
