Mumbai, January 29, 2025: Under the National Common Mobility Card (NCMC) program, Anq Digital Finserv Private Limited, in collaboration with Pine Labs and NPCI, announced the launch of the RuPay On-The-Go feature on its flagship product, the ‘Anq X Card’. This marks a significant step toward providing millions of Indians with seamless, cashless access to public transportation.
India’s public transportation network serves 14 crore commuters annually, yet many still rely on outdated systems. The government's “One Nation, One Card” vision seeks to unify transit payments nationwide, fostering greater financial inclusion. The RuPay On-The-Go feature provides users with access to metros, buses, and parking using a single card, bypassing queues and enabling cashless payments, promoting financial inclusion.
This initiative aligns with the government’s vision of a digitally empowered India, making commuting more convenient for millions of citizens. By offering a unified payment solution for transportation, the Anq X Card simplifies everyday commuting and brings India closer to its digital transformation goals.
The Anq X Card, is one of India’s fastest-growing prepaid cards, now empowers users to access metro services, buses, and other public transportation systems nationwide. This feature will be rolled out to millions of existing Anq customers, improving their everyday commuting experience while offering rewards for every purchase.
