Mumbai, April 3, 2026: The third day of Sādhana Saptah 2026 will continue to focus on Technology, with expert-led webinars scheduled for 4 April 2026. The sessions will explore India's approach to emerging technologies including quantum computing, digital infrastructure and artificial intelligence. Experts from government, academia and other global experts will share insights on how these technologies can strengthen governance and improve public service delivery.
Central Ministries and Departments also will host specialised webinars to showcase technology applications in governance. The sessions are designed to help public officials understand and use new technologies for better decision-making and citizen-centric service delivery.

1. Prof. Ajay Kumar Sood:
Topic: India's International Technology Engagement Strategy for Quantum

Prof. Sood (Principal Scientific Adviser, Government of India) will discuss India's strategy on quantum technologies, covering quantum computing, quantum communication and quantum sensing. The session will highlight how these technologies will transform governance, security and research, along with India's international collaborations and plans to build indigenous capabilities in this critical emerging domain.
2. Dr. Arvind Gupta:
Topic: Building Digital Highways: Infrastructure for a Connected, Inclusive Bharat

Dr. Gupta (Head & Co-founder, Digital India Foundation) will explore the foundational role of digital infrastructure in enabling inclusive growth and citizen-centric service delivery. The session will focus on how Digital Public Infrastructure is reshaping governance, enhancing last-mile connectivity and bridging the digital divide to ensure equitable access to technology-enabled services across urban and rural India.
3. Mr. Shantanu Choudhary:
Topic: Capacity Building for AI-Enabled Predictive Maintenance of Civil Infrastructure

Mr Choudhary (Professor, IIT Delhi) will discuss how Artificial Intelligence can be used for predictive maintenance of critical civil infrastructure such as roads, bridges and public buildings. The DAC Division will present how Digital Address as a Digital Public Infrastructure is revolutionising postal services and governance by providing unique, verifiable digital addresses. The session will highlight applications in last-mile delivery, emergency services, financial inclusion and citizen service delivery, demonstrating how this innovation enhances efficiency and accessibility across sectors.
