Mumbai, August 17, 2024: In a grand program organized at the state level, Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar today assured that all eligible ladies will receive the benefits of ‘Mukhyamantri Majhi Ladki Bahin Yojana'. The women, sisters who came to the program were literally overwhelmed.

The state government has launched 'Mukhyamantri Majhi Ladki Bahin Yojana' for women. The benefit of the first two months of this Ladki Bahin scheme has begun to be distributed by Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) to the eligible sisters in the state. In this scheme, women will get Rs1500 per month. More than two and a half crore women will benefit from this decision. 

The benefit distribution ceremony was undertaken by the Chief Minister, both Deputy Chief Ministers etc. on the platform of the main at the Badminton Hall of Shiv Chhatrapati Sports Complex at Pune.

The women of Umaid Abhiyan in the Savings Group movement in the state will send one crore rakhyas to Chief Minister Eknath Shinde.

The work of making rakhi has started through the women of self-help groups in the state. From 40 thousand villages in the state, Rakhi will be sent to Chief Minister Eknath Shinde. The new scheme brought by the government has created an atmosphere of excitement everywhere. 

Women are raising the slogan 'Chalo Mumbai' to tie rakhi to their elder brother on Rakhi Purnima on August 19. 

From August 14, the combined amount of the two instalments of the Chief Minister Majhi Ladki Bahin Yojana (three thousand rupees) has started to be deposited in the accounts of the sisters by the Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT). Chief Minister Eknath Shinde has also interacted online with these beneficiaries.

In the inauguration ceremony of Majhi Ladaki Bahin Yojana held at Balewadi of Pune today, Chief Minister Eknathji Shinde, Deputy Chief Minister Devendraji Fadnavis and Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar participated together and addressed the audience on this occasion.

Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar said at Balewadi, Pune: “Shiv-Shahu-Phule-Ambedkar's women in Maharashtra should be more empowered. We came up with women's policies. Now the fourth women's policy has been brought. Through that, women got respect and dignity. The women should take advantage of this opportunity. My Ma-Mouli is responding well to Chief Minister Majhi Ladki Baheen Yojana. In order to maintain the continuity of this scheme, we only expect the people to support us and give us another chance. The government will continue to deposit money in the accounts of the sisters under this scheme for the next five years as well.”

In front of the main dais at Pune, a grand rakhi was made in rangoli. Arrangements were also made for women's meetings in the halls on either side of the main hall. In addition, large hangars (sheds) were also erected on both sides of the badminton hall for meeting arrangements. The Chief Minister and Deputy Chief Minister interacted with the women on both sides by walking on the elevated walkway that was made in the middle of the hall to communicate directly with all these women. All the women welcomed them by turning on the lights of their mobiles.

The travel and other arrangements for every woman coming were made by the administration. Despite the presence of such a large number of women, there was no inconvenience anywhere.

Attractive selfie points of the scheme were also set up by the administration at the entrances. Women who got the opportunity to come for the first time in such a grand area of the sports complex were enthusiastically taking selfies in front of these selfie points and banners.

Cultural program was graced with unique songs performed by popular singers Avadhoot Gupte, Swapnil Bandodkar, Vaishali Samant etc. The women present appreciated these songs and cultural programs by clapping and spontaneously dancing in their place.

On this occasion, Vaishali Samant expressed the feelings of the women in the heart of women that the mother-in-law who came to the program today really looks like Mahervashini who came to her home. On this occasion, Vaishali Samant performed colorful songs like 'Gulabachi Kali Bagha Haladinen Makhli', 'Gojiri', 'Mera India', 'Aika Dajiba' etc.

As soon as Avadhoot Gupte started with the song 'Ek Hilahan Me Meri Behna Hai', the women present were also seen getting emotional. Manmoracha Kasa Pisara Phulla, Pori jira slowly chala, Shivba Raj Naam Gajan Ji Adi Gupte and Bandodkar sang Ganadhisha Morya, Swapneel Bandodkar along with Jaha Dal Dal Par Sone Ki Chidiya, the song 'Radha Hi Bavari' was sung by the women with a spontaneous chorus. Appreciated. Mugdha Karade presented Chhabidaar Chhabi song in modern form.

Cultural programs were colorfully moderated by TV actor Abhijit Khandkekar, actress Mrinmayi Deshpande etc.

The grand opening of the event, which was well organized and well organised, was equally spectacular. As soon as the Chief Minister and Deputy Chief Minister entered the center of the hall and pressed the key, the whole hall was filled with colorful flags and spectacular fireworks.
