Mumbai, July 03, 2025: IndusInd Bank announced that it has opened an all-women branch in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. Located at Saveetha Dental College, Velappanchavadi, this is the 12th all-women branch established by the Bank in country. Through this initiative, IndusInd Bank aims to offer women customers more comfortable and convenient space for availing banking services.

Spread across 1300 sq. ft., the all-new branch is managed by a team of five dedicated women bankers and offers a full suite of IndusInd Bank’s retail banking services, including savings and current accounts, fixed deposits, recurring deposits as well as credit facilities such as personal loan, auto loan, mortgages and cards.

IndusInd Bank’s all-women branch was inaugurated by the Guest of Honour, Dr. N.M. Veeraiyan, Founder & Chancellor of Saveetha Institute of Medical and Technical Sciences. Also present at the occasion were Chief Guests: Dr Saveetha, Director of The Pupil Saveetha Eco School, and Dr Ramya, Director of the Saveetha School of Engineering.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Vineet Dhar, Head – Branch Banking & Home Markets, IndusInd Bank, said, “We are proud to inaugurate the all-women bank branch in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. IndusInd Bank has 12 all-women branches across Jalandhar, Chandigarh, Delhi, Jaipur, Pune, Bhubaneswar, Kolkata, Bengaluru, Chennai and Thiruvananthapuram. As of March 31, 2025, the bank had 800+ branches in Southern India, underscoring its strong and growing presence in the region.  Furthermore, as the Bank enters its fourth decade of providing people with transformational banking services, it remains committed to ensuring a convenient and secure experience for all its customers.
