This marquee event will bring together some of the country’s most celebrated badminton stars and DBS Bank India brand champions: Lakshya Sen, Chirag Shetty, Satwiksairaj Rankireddy, Treesa Jolly, and Gayatri Gopichand.
Known for its rich heritage and status as one of Mumbai’s most iconic sports clubs, the Bombay Gymkhana will lend a distinctive charm to this invite-only event. A two-hour interactive session will be curated for select Gymkhana members and their children, promising a fun-filled day of sportsmanship.
Some of India’s biggest badminton stars are set to elevate the event’s prestige, headlined by Lakshya Sen, who made history at Paris 2024 as the first Indian men’s singles player to reach the Olympic semi-finals. A rising icon, Lakshya boasts titles such as the India Open, Canada Open, and a silver medal at the 2022 All England Championships.
Joining him are Treesa Jolly and Gayatri Gopichand, the world No. 9 women’s doubles duo, who played a pivotal role in India’s gold-medal triumph at the 2024 Asia Team Championships. Completing the star-studded lineup are Chirag Shetty and Satwiksairaj Rankireddy, Khel Ratna awardees and former world No.1s. The dynamic duo has secured multiple historic firsts for Indian badminton, including Asian Games gold, Super 1000, and Super 500 titles.
