Mumbai, May 21, 2024 – The Bank of India is delighted to announce the Golden Jubilee celebration of its Paris Branch, marking 50 years of exceptional service since its establishment on May 17, 1974. The event, held in Paris, was a grand affair, attended by eminent guests and loyal customers, symbolizing the deep bonds and trust the Paris Branch has cultivated over the years.
Since its inception in 1974, the Paris Branch of the Bank of India has been instrumental in enhancing economic and cultural ties between India and France. The branch offers a comprehensive range of financial services, including corporate banking, trade finance, and remittance services, catering to the diverse needs of its customers.
Shri. Rajneesh Karnatak, Managing Director & CEO of Bank of India, graced the Golden Jubilee celebration. The event was further enriched by the presence of the Guest of Honour, Mr. Javed Ashraf, Indian Ambassador to France, and Mr. Prafullachandra Sharma, Deputy Chief of Mission, Embassy of India in France. Padma Shri Awardee and renowned Sanskrit scholar Dr. Pierre-Sylvain Filliozat was felicitated on this occasion, adding to the grandeur of the event.
Several dignitaries, including Shri Nitin Deshpande, Chief General Manager, International Division, Shri. Manish Gupta, Chief Executive for Europe, and Shri. Sujan Salian, Country Head for France, were in attendance, alongside long-serving employees of the Paris Branch.
