Mumbai, 11 September 2026: DCB Bank announced the launch of WrkTalk as its enterprise-wide corporate communication platform at Global Fintech Fest (GFF) 2026, Jio World Centre, Mumbai. The Made-in-India platform has been deployed on the Bank’s own servers and is now live across the organisation, making DCB Bank the first bank in India to deploy WrkTalk as an enterprise-wide corporate communications platform on its own infrastructure. The launch was marked at the Bank’s pavilion at GFF, in the presence of Mr Praveen Kutty, MD and CEO, DCB Bank; Mr Ravi Kumar, Chief Financial Officer, DCB Bank; Mr Bappa Roy, Chief Data Protection Officer, DCB Bank and Mr Bijaei Jayaraj, Founder & CEO, WrkTalk.
The deployment marks a step towards Atmanirbhar Bharat in enterprise technology, bringing the Bank’s communication infrastructure fully within its digital environment. WrkTalk enables internal messaging, voice and video calls, group channels, screen sharing and file sharing, and runs entirely on the Bank’s infrastructure. No message, file, call or metadata leaves the Bank’s environment, and no third party, including WrkTalk itself, has access to it. The platform covers the Bank’s employees and extends to its communication with external partners.
The move addresses a growing concern for regulated institutions: sensitive corporate communications data stored outside the organisation’s infrastructure. Mainstream messaging and collaboration platforms route data through servers owned and operated by third parties, placing an enterprise’s most sensitive real-time conversations outside its trust boundary. DCB Bank’s adoption of WrkTalk reverses this model, with its real-time communication layer sitting within its walls, under its full architectural control, supporting its obligations under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) Act and the data localisation and protection expectations applicable to banks.
The platform is also secured using post-quantum cryptography (PQC), protecting the Bank’s communication against “harvest now, decrypt later” attacks — where encrypted data intercepted today is stored for decryption once quantum computers become capable. Moreover, with quantum-readiness a central theme at GFF 2026, DCB Bank’s deployment positions it among the early adopters of quantum-safe communication in Indian banking.
“As a bank, our obligation to protect customer and institutional data extends to every layer of our operations, including the way our teams communicate,” said Praveen Kutty, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, DCB Bank. “WrkTalk gives us a communication platform that meets the privacy standards we uphold — one where we are certain that sensitive conversations stay exactly where they should: within our walls, and under our control. Launching it at Global Fintech Fest reflects how central we believe communication privacy is to the future of banking.”
Damodar Agarwal, Head of Strategic Initiatives & Alternate Channels, DCB Bank Ltd, added, “DCB Bank continues to invest in secure, reliable, and scalable system solutions. WrkTalk has much to offer, from architecture to integrations, deployment and rollout across the Bank.”
“Communication privacy is not a feature — it is a fundamental requirement for any institution handling sensitive data,” said Bijaei Jayaraj, Founder and CEO, WrkTalk DigiSec AI Pvt Ltd. “When an organisation’s employees communicate on platforms it does not own or control, that is a structural problem, not a settings issues. WrkTalk solves it at the architectural level. WrkTalk is one of the few enterprise communication products anywhere to have implemented post-quantum cryptography (PQC), which means what DCB Bank’s teams say to each other today stays private not only now, but also in a quantum future.”
WrkTalk is purpose-built for enterprises where data confidentiality is non-negotiable and designed for rapid, enterprise-scale deployment within a customer’s own infrastructure.
