The yoga program for the well-being of 2.37 lakh employees

Mumbai, June 24, 2025: State Bank of India, the country’s largest and the world’s most trusted bank announced the virtual yoga program twice a week across the year for 2.37 lakh employees across 17 circles and 23,000 branches, strengthening SBI’s commitment to building a mindful, holistic work environment. In a vibrant celebration aligned with the ‘Yoga for One Earth, One Health’ theme, the bank marked International Yoga day with a significant commitment to employee well-being.
Shri CS Setty, Chairman, SBI, expressed the bank's vision, stating, "Today's yoga session was a powerful affirmation of our belief in the transformative potential of yoga for individual health. By embracing the 'Yoga for One Earth, One Health' theme, we are not merely offering a fitness program; we are nurturing a conscious community within SBI that understands its intrinsic connection to a healthier environment and society. These virtual yoga sessions for our 2.37 lakh employees are a testament to our unwavering commitment to their holistic health, recognizing that a thriving workforce is the bedrock of our progress and our contribution to a sustainable future."
As a prelude to this long-term program on this International Yoga Day, SBI conducted yoga sessions at its Corporate Centre with participation from nearly 400 employees and senior leadership. The bank also witnessed encouraging participation from 70 locations at their local head office and branches.
