REC's Net Profit Up By 19%

The Board of Directors of REC Limited, has approved the limited reviewed standalone and consolidated financial results for the period ended September 30, 2025. 

Operational and Financial Highlights: H1 FY26 vs H1 FY25 (Standalone)

-   Disbursements: Rs1,15,470 crore vs. Rs90,955 crore, up by 27%

-   Total income: Rs29,828 crore vs. Rs26,633 crore, up by 12%

-  Net interest income: Rs10,608 crore vs. Rs9,261 crore, up by 15%

-  Net Profit: Rs8,877 crore vs. Rs7,448 crore, up by 19%

Further on standalone basis, during Q2 FY26 sanctions have increased by 97% to Rs1,49,832 crore against Rs76,200 crore in corresponding Q2 FY25.

Owing to growth in all the verticals, REC is able to maintain its spreads at 2.89% and NIM at 3.64%, resulting in robust half yearly profit after tax of Rs8,877 crore. As a result, the Annualised Earnings Per Share (EPS) for the period ended September 30, 2025 accelerated by 19% to Rs67.24 per share as against Rs56.56 per share as at September 30, 2024.

The loan book has maintained its growth trajectory on sustained basis to Rs5.82 lakh crore as against Rs5.46 lakh crore as on September 30, 2024. The net credit-impaired assets as on September 30, 2025 have reduced to 0.24% from 0.88% as on September 30, 2024 with Provision Coverage Ratio of 77.06% on NPA assets, as on September 30, 2025.

Aided by growth in profits, the Net Worth has grown to Rs82,739 crore as on September 30, 2025.

Continuing with the tradition to reward its shareholders, the Board of Directors of the Company has declared the second interim dividend of Rs4.60 per equity share (on face value of Rs10/- each) with this total interim dividend for the financial year 2025-26 is Rs9.20.
